Ian Murphy Visit

Our sixth form students had the great privilege of working with world renowned artist Ian Murphy. Ian visited the art department to show the students his work, discuss his career and then deliver a drawing workshop in which all students produced large mixed media drawings. It was a very productive day, thank you to all involved.

London Art Trip

A group of Year 11-12 Art students visited London on Monday 4th December as part of their GCSE/A Level studies. The students had the opportunity to visit some of the countries best loved art galleries including the Tate Modern and The Royal Academy of Arts; most notably visiting 'Jasper Johns: Something Resembling Truth' and 'Dali/Duchamp' exhibitions. A great day was had by all, with all students feeling inspired for their own projects.
