Changes to School Services

Due to high numbers, the following changes have been made to the school buses:

Current morning 723 will NOT serve the Field Lane estate from Tuesday 7th Sept.

There will be two afternoon 723 buses from Monday 6th Sept.

An additional service numbered 722 will start at Field Lane/Greenbank Drive at 8.00am and will follow the 723 route. This bus is earlier than present so pupils may need to adjust their times. It will drop pupils at Maghull Town Hall as it also serves Deyes and Maricourt.

The evening 728 will not run from now on. Pupils should use the 727.

We advise that all pupils go for the earliest bus and board the first bus that arrives to ensure that they can travel to school.

School buses serving Maghull High School are provided by Peoplesbus, Al’s Coaches and Maghull Coaches. Some services are supported by Merseytravel and some are run commercially by the operator.

SERVICE UPDATE:i. The 739 is currently diverted due to overhanging trees near to the Bootle Arms on Rock Lane. The bus will not serve Tithebarn Lane, Rock Lane or Weavers Lane..
